We’ve mostly scaled up to using a large slab mold, but we still use these tall skinny molds for artisanal stuff that’s hard to do in a slab. We absolutely love these, and they’re the only single-loaf molds we use, really. We line them with freezer paper and they release the soap really easily that way. And it’s great that we can take the sides apart to give the mold a deep clean. The wood does stain over time if you’re a messy soaper, but now we just put a sealant on the molds before we use them the first time and they wipe off easily. They’re worth every penny!
