   We love kaolin, and the pricing through Suds N Scents is very competitive. It’s a good way to anchor your essential oils if you’re using them in CP soap, so that’s largely what we use it for. (Use about a tablespoon per pound of oil, and mix it directly into the essential oils before adding them to your soap batter.) However, we do also like to use this clay in other cleaners to provide a gentle grit for scrubbing. Overall, a wonderful product and at a very reasonable price!

   I am new to soap making and some videos show this being added for colour retention and to enhance the scent. I don’t know otherwise so I will continue to use it as I bought a big batch! 🙂
