Cocoa butter has beneficial moisturizing qualities.

A hard, saturated fat that can successfully be combined with unsaturated fats

such as jojoba, apricot, olive, etc to assist skin in absorbing moisture.

Wonderful as a superfat in soap. Excellent added to lip balms and ointments to provide

a protective moisture layer.

NOTE: Due to poor harvests in Western Africa,  Ghana and Ivory Coast along with subsequent disease outbreaks  has led to significant supply shortages and the highest prices in over 40 years. These areas collectively produce about 60% of the world’s cocoa beans. We remain hopeful that prices will decrease once growing conditions and supply demand normalize.
