Citronella Essential Oil, Cymbopogon nardus, USA – Top Note

Strong, lemony scent. Useful insecticide. During the summer try a couple of drops in water to wash the floors to deter mosquitos. Handy for making that camping soap! Useful in pet care (fur). Blends well with geranium, cedar, pine, citrus oils.

Useful note: According to forestry experts in bear country – citronella copies the scent of a female bear in heat. Great for bugs but watch it when you’re in bear country!
